2017 Road Salt Bid Information
We have finally reached the first day of Spring! Winter is officially over, not that we had much of one this year. A big THANK YOU to Mother Nature for sparing us! I’m sure most of your bins are still chock full of salt … some may even have some left over from last year.
That said, we will be going out for bid soon for your salt requirements. I anticipate having the bid out on the street and back into my office by mid-June this year. If you are interested in participating in the bid this year, please have your information back to me by May S, 2017. The bid will be structured the same as it has been in the past. We will include estimated quantities for each entity and do not plan to put a cap on either end of that number.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS INFORMATION IS SHARED WITH THOSE ON YOUR STAFF WHO CAN RESPOND. If your entity does NOT plan to participate, please let me know on the attached form (see line for Non-Participation).
