www.nigp.org – The National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, Inc. (NIGP) is a national, membership-based non-profit organization providing support to professionals in the public sector purchasing profession. NIGP provides its members with many services, including education, professional networking, research, and technical assistance.
www.coopp.org – The Central Ohio Organization of Public Purchasers (CO-OPP) is the Local Chapter for NIGP. CO-OPP is a not-for-profit organization comprised of purchasing professionals from public entities such as townships, cities, counties, state, federal, schools and higher education involved in procurement and materials management.
www.uscommunities.org – U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance (U.S. Communities), a division of U.S. Communities Public Services Alliance was designed in cooperation with an Advisory Board of local and state government purchasing officials and is jointly sponsored by the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO), the National Association of Counties (NACo), the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), the National League of Cities (NLC), and the United States Conference of Mayors (USCM).
www.uppcc.org – The Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council (UPPCC) is an independent entity formed to govern and administer the Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification programs.
