2018 Road Salt Bid Information

Winter felt like it was never going to leave but we think we are finally on our way to better weather!

The City of Dayton OH is taking the lead on the Rock Salt bid this year. That being said, we will be going out for bid soon for your salt requirements. I anticipate having the bid out on the street and back into my office by early to mid-June this year. If you are interested in participating in the bid this year, please have your information back to me by May 16, 2018. The bid will be structured the close to the same as it has been in the past. We will include estimated quantities for each entity and do not plan to put a cap on either end of that number.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS INFORMATION IS SHARED WITH THOSE ON YOUR STAFF WHO CAN RESPOND.

If your entity does NOT plan to participate, please let me know on the attached form {see line for Non-Participation).

Enjoy your Spring, and please be sure to let me know ASAP whether or not your entity plans to participate in the salt bid this year.
